2017 Dalrymple Pinot Noir

Fruit was sourced from Dalrymple’s own vineyard at Pipers River and growers at Swansea and Ouse. Each of these sites making its own unique contribution to the final blend with maturation taking place in French oak barriques.

Deep dark red colour with black tinged edges and a light red hue. Fragrant anise laced aromas of violets, dark cherries and ripe strawberries blossom from the glass followed by toasty cedar, subtle forest floor and spice notes. A fuller, richer style of Dalrymple Pinot this year’s release dishes up a delicious ripe dark cherry, strawberry and anise flavour profile underscored by subtlety toasted cedar and forest floor characters. Spicy finish with velvety tannins and a supple mouthfeel. Shows excellent power whilst still retaining its elegance concluding with a long spicy aftertaste of ripe dark cherries, strawberries, anise, toasty cedar and subtle forest floor.
