2017 Coates The Nebbiolo

Matured in French oak for 18 months. Deep dark red colour with black tinged edges and a red hue. Elevated scents of ripe red cherries and raspberries tinged with notions of rose petals mix with some vanillin spice, earthy leather and fresh herb notes. Delicious spicy red raspberry and cherry fruits have a vibrant feel with elements of scorched earth, dried herbs and subtle tobacco sitting underneath. Finishes with a bite of fresh crunchy like acidity, slightly dryish tannins and a savoury red fruited aftertaste that shows plenty of persistence and energy.
Drink over the next 5-6 years.
