2017 Bindi Dixon Pinot Noir

Semi translucent dark red colour with a slight tinge of black to the edges and a crimson hue. A youthful nose of crushed ripe cherries and strawberries gently laced with violets and hints of anise shows excellent intensity. Also evident are notions of fresh herbs and spicy cedar. Light to medium bodied the palate possesses delicious, juicy like, freshly crushed dark cherry and strawberry flavours over traces of anise, a subtle meatiness and spicy cedar. Supple mouthfeel finishing fresh with finely grained tannins and an aftertaste of vibrant red to dark fruits, a touch of anise, subtle meaty characters and spicy cedar.
