2016 Trenel Morgon Cote du Py Beaujolais

Deep dark red black tinged colour with a bright red hue. Fragrant ripe cherry and sour cherry aromas are overlaid by clove, smoky incense like characters and fresh herb infusions. Light to medium weight the palate sees bright red cherry and sour cherry flavours converse with dried clove, smoky dried meat characters and spicy herbs. Dry finish with vibrant acidity and slightly chalky tannins. Aftertaste of red and sour cherries, clove and spicy dried herbs.
