2016 Punt Road Napoleone Vineyard Pinot Noir

Semi translucent bright dark red colour with a crimson hue. Fragrant aromas of violets, ripe red cherries and strawberries blossom from the glass followed by dried herb infusions and spicy cedar notes. Very savoury the palate dishes up delicious flavours of ripe dark cherries and strawberries that show good power over subtle dried herb infusions, a subtle meatiness and spicy cedar. Slightly dryish finish but otherwise supple in its mouthfeel with very refined, perfectly integrated tannins. Long aftertaste of ripe dark cherries, strawberries, dried meats and spicy cedar.
Drink over the next 5-6 years.
