2016 Narkoojee Francis Road Shiraz

Totally opaque black dark red colour with a deep dark red black tinged hue. Aromas of black cherries and liquorice infused with smoky cedar and clove are followed by black olive and pepper end notes. Full bodied and richly textured the palate is stacked with lavish blackberry, black cherry and liquorice flavours which merge into toasty vanillin cedar, fennel and pepper. Opulent mouthfeel with ripe, slightly chewy tannins providing the framework. Long aftertaste of ripe black cherries, blackberry, liquorice, smoky cedar, fennel and spicy pepper.
