2016 Moorooduc Estate Robinson Vineyard Pinot Noir

Semi translucent dark red colour with black tinged edges and a dark red hue. Flowing through the olfactory senses are intense aromatics of ripe dark cherries, anise and spicy dark plum followed by subtlety toasted vanillin cedar, forest floor and dried herb notes. Rich dark cherry, ripe strawberry and anise flavours supplely caress the velvety textured palate with an under card of forest floor, some meatiness and spice. Outstanding concentration and power with silky tannins and a very long dark cherry, ripe strawberry, anise, forest floor, subtle meaty and spicy dried herb aftertaste.
Drink over the next 5-6 years.
