Dense black dark red colour with a deep dark red hue. Aromas of black raspberry and kirsch fill the nostrils followed by some liquorice, earthy leather and spice notes. Rich black raspberry fruits dominate the palate underscored by firm grippy tannins and bright acidity. Elements of black cherry, plum, liquorice, leather and spicy earth are also evident. Very powerful and structured but perhaps a touch disjointed. Concludes with a long yet stern aftertaste.
