2016 Cape Banks Pinot Noir

Deep dark red colour with black tinged edges and a dark to brick red hue. Ripe dark plum and dark cherry aromas intermix with a touch of liquorice, vanillin cedar, earthy leather notes and dried herbs. Medium bodied the palate has generous dark cherry and dark plum flavours over earthy vanillin cedar, subtle liquorice and spicy dried herbs. Soft in its feel with velvety tannins and a medium length aftertaste.
Drink over the next 1-2 years.
