2016 Atlas Shiraz

Impenetrable inky black colour with a deep dark red black hue. Pronounced black cherry, blackberry and liquorice aromas waft from the glass followed by vanillin cedar, scorched earth, dried meats and spicy pepper. Rich, densely textured and thick across the palate, opulent flavours of black cherries, ripe blackberries and liquorice flood the mouth. Scorched earth, spicy vanillin cedar, dried meats and blackpepper elements sit beneath. Sturdy tannins have a muscular feel. Excellent depth and power with a long chewy aftertaste.
