$24. 99
Bottle
$299.88 Dozen
Cellar: 3 - 4 Years (2020-2021)
ABV: 14.5%
Closure: Stelvin

The fruit for this Montepulciano has been sourced from vineyards located in the Adelaide Hills and McLaren Vale, where the fruit ripens earlier with much more tannin. Magnificent colour displaying a saturated inky black core with a very deep dark purple black hue. Inky ripe dark cherry aromas meet up with liquorice followed by subtle earth and spicy dried herb end notes. The lush juicy palate is filled with rich blackberry, dark cherry and liquorice flavours which hold sway over a backdrop of inky vanillin cedar and spicy earth nuances. Dry chewy finish with assertive tannins and bright acidity. Aftertaste of inky dark cherries, blackberries, liquorice, earthy vanillin cedar and spice.
Cellar 3-4 years.
Alc 14.5%

Other Reviews….
Striking purple-crimson hue and depth; the bouquet is fragrant, the palate an unusual mix of small dark fruits on entry, shifting to cedar, liquorice and sweet earth on the finish. I fancy this would just love to be served with Italian food. Drink by 2025.
