2015 McGuigan The Short List Shiraz

Matured in new French and American oak for 16 months. Totally opaque black dark red core with a dark red hue. Elevated dark chocolate, blackberry and liquorice aromas merge into toasty vanillin cedar and spicy earth notes. Sporting a plush texture and opulent fruit profile, flavours of ripe blackberries, dark chocolate and liquorice caresses the palate over a background of vanillin oak and spicy mocha. Velvet smooth tannins. Solid depth with a medium to long ripe blackberry, dark chocolate, liquorice, vanillin oak and spicy mocha aftertaste.
Drink over next 4-5 years.
