2015 Heartland Directors' Cut Shiraz

Matured in a combination of all new French (80%) and American oak (20%) for a period of 14 months. Impenetrable black as night colour with a deep dark red black hue. Intense ripe blackberry and liquorice aromas combine with choc mint, vanillin oak, earth and spice. Full bodied, very rich and possessing a seductive, voluptuous like mouthfeel the palate is awash with dark plum, liquorice and choc mint flavours. Some fairly prominent vanillin oak, earth and spice elements are also present. Silky smooth tannins. Long spicy dark chocolate, ripe dark plum, liquorice, mint and earthy vanillin oak aftertaste.
Drink over the next 3-4 years.
