2015 Dr Burklin-Wolf Dry Riesling

The Dr. Bürklin-Wolf Estate has a tradition dating back to 1597 and is one of the largest Estates in Germany with a total vineyard area of 85 ha that includes a treasure trove of top-rated vineyard sites in the unique landscape of the Mittelhaardt.

Bright pale straw colour with a greenish glimmer around the edges and a watery hue. The nose offers up lime, red apple and subtle honeysuckle scents overlaid by hints of kerosene and spice. Possessing wonderful concentration and volume in the mouth, lime, apple and ripe citrus flavours dominate over traces of honeysuckle and spicy quince. Crisp, cleansing acidity on the dry finish with a long lime, red apple, subtle honeysuckle and fresh quince aftertaste.
Drink over the next 5-6 years.
