2014 Wily Trout Shiraz

Deep dark red black colour with a dark red purple hue. Fragrant aromas of dark cherries, liquorice and blackpepper overlay scorched earth and subtle dried meat notes. Light to medium weight the elegant palate has flavours of liquorice and traces of blackberries intermixed with blackpepper, dried meats and smoky cedar. Slightly dryish finish with very fine grained tannins, fresh acidity and an aftertaste of spicy blackpepper, liquorice, dried meats and smoky cedar.
Cellar 4-5 years.
