2014 Wignalls Cabernet Merlot

Very deep dark red black tinged colour with a dark red hue. Aromas of ripe red currant and mulberry are followed by some cedary tobacco characters and faint tinges of bay leaf. Medium bodied the palate has and elegant feel to it with flavours of ripe red currant, red cherries and mulberries over earthy cedar and spicy bay leaf. Slightly dryish finish with fine grained tannins. Aftertaste of spicy red currant, red cherries, mulberries, earthy cedar and spicy bay leaf.
Cellar 3-4 years.
