2014 Mahana Gravity Pinot Noir

Certified organic this wine was matured for 12 months in older French oak barriques. Good depth of colour displaying a deep dark red black tinged core with a bright dark red hue. Fragrant ripe black cherry aromas infused with anise overlay some toasty oak, subtle earth and spice. Medium bodied the spicy palate is filled with juicy black cherry and plum flavours followed by anise and spicy scorched earth characters. Slightly dryish on the finish with fine grained tannins. Spicy aftertaste of black cherries, anise and scorched earth.
Cellar 3-4 years.
