2014 Madman's Gully Syrah

Semi translucent bright dark red colour with a crimson red hue. Delicate dark cherry aromas sit alongside hints of sour cherries and dried clove with meaty characters and pepper following on. Very elegant with a meaty like mouthfeel and dry finish, the palate is subtlety flavoured with dark cherries, some clove infusions, earthy dried meats and spicy pepper. Chalky tannins provide some grip on the finish. Aftertaste of spice, dark cherries, faint clove, earthy dried meats and pepper.
Cellar 3-4 years.
