2014 Kalleske Pirathon Shiraz

Magnificent colour displaying a midnight black core with a very deep dark purple black hue. Scented aromas of liquorice and ripe blackberries intermingle with a hint of black cherry followed by toasty vanillin cedar and spice. Full bodied, rich, plush and sweetly fruited the palate is filled with ripe blackberries, liquorice and dark plum flavours over a touch of smoky vanillin cedar and spice. Opulent supple mouthfeel with silky smooth tannins and just the right amount of freshness on the finish. Long aftertaste of liquorice, ripe blackberry, dark plum, smoky vanillin cedar and spice.
