2014 Glaetzer Dixon Reveur Pinot Noir

Matured in French oak for 21 months. Deep dark red colour with black tinged edges and a dark red hue. Powerful aromas of anise and dark to black cherries sit over some toasty vanillin cedar, light earth and spice. Rich and supple in the mouth the medium weighted palate is powered by flavours of ripe black cherries, anise and dark plums followed by smoky vanillin cedar and spicy earth elements. Slightly grainy yet fine grained tannins with a long spicy black cherry, anise, dark plum, toasty cedar and earthy dried herb aftertaste. A big ripe Pinot.
