Brilliant pale straw colour with a distinctive greenish tinge around the edges and a watery hue. The nose is filled with white peach, dried honey and cashew aromas followed by light citrusy nougat and spice. Fresh nectarine and white peach flavours are to the fore on the bright, elegantly textured palate with ensuing subtle dried honey, cashew and spice nuances. A slight creaminess and lively acidity counterpoint each other. Long aftertaste of nectarine, white peach, subtle dried honey, cashew and spice.
Cellar 4-5 years.

Other Reviews….
Hand-picked, whole bunch-pressed, free-run juice to French oak (30% new) for wild fermentation, SO2 added post-fermentation to prevent mlf, but no acid or other additions, lees-stirred and matured for 9 months, four gold medals. This is natural wine at its zenith if you accept SO2 can be used. It is beautifully focused and poised, with pink grapefruit the lead player on the palate, white-fleshed stone fruits following behind in close formation; the oak is positive, but knows its place. Drink by 2022.
