2013 Dominique Portet Fontaine Rose

Produced from a blend of Merlot (50%), Shiraz (30%) and Cabernet Sauvignon (20%). The Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot are sourced from the Yarra Valley, and the Shiraz from the Pyrenees region.
This excellent drier styled Rose displays a translucent salmon pink colour with a watery salmon pink tinged hue. The nose exhibits cherry and strawberry top notes followed by some raspberry and confectionary. Possessing excellent textural mouthfeel the palate boasts generous flavours of cherry, plum juice and strawberry with a spicy back palate. Clean dry finish with long spicy cherry and plum juice aftertaste.
