2012 Warner Vineyard The Rest Chardonnay

Brilliant pale straw colour with distinctive greenish tinge around the edges and watery hue. The nose displays excellent intensity with lifted white peach scents intermixed with some funky wild ferment characters followed by some honeycomb, light nougat and spice. Rich and full the palate possesses a creamy textured flavour profile of white peach, yeast lees characters, dried honey, cashew, nougat and mineral. Clean dry finish with long ripe white peach, yeast lees, dried honey and nougat aftertaste.
Drink over the next 4-5 years.
