2012 Wantirna Estate Amelia Cabernet Sauvignon Merlot

Opaque dark red black colour with a bright crimson purple hue. Nosing reveals blackcurrant and dark cherry aromas over some cedar, light tobacco and spice. Light to medium weight with a soft elegant mouthfeel the palate possesses dark cherry and ripe mulberry flavours over a background of lightly toasted cedar, earth, subtle tobacco and spice. Beautifully integrated very fine grained tannins with an aftertaste of dark cherry, ripe mulberry, cedary tobacco and spice.
