2012 Torbreck The Loon Shiraz Roussanne

Super saturated inky black purple colour with deep dark purple hue. The nose is a little subdued with ripe dark plum and freshly crushed blackberry scents emerging followed by a hint of liquorice, some toastiness and exotic spice. Supple and velvety textured the palate delivers sumptuous flavours of dark plum, blackberry and liquorice followed by a twist of honeysuckle and some toast and spice on the back palate. Silky smooth tannins. Medium to long ripe dark plum, liquorice, toast and spice aftertaste.
Drink over the next 4-5 years.
