2012 Pikes Riesling

An outstanding Riesling.
Brilliant water like colour with distinctive greenish tinge around the edges and watery hue. Excellent intensity on the nose with lifted scents of lime and lemon to the fore followed by a touch of orange rind with some mineral infusions as end notes. Superb concentration and acid structure – a trademark of the 2012 Clare Rieslings. Mouthfilling flavours of lemon and lime intermixed with some orange rind followed by a crisp steely mineral finish. Very long lemon, lime and steely mineral aftertaste.
Drink now or cellar 5-8 years (2012-2020).
