2012 Moss Wood Chardonnay

Brilliant pale straw colour with watery hue. The nose has a rich aromatic profile of ripe peach intermixed with dried honey and butterscotch followed by nuances of nougat, creamy cashew and spice showing very good intensity. The palate’s rich creamy textural qualities are counter balanced by some fresh acidity on the finish – mouthfilling flavours of honeycomb and peach are followed by some nutty cashew like characters and spice. Clean dry finish. Excellent length with long dried honey, cashew, light toast and spice aftertaste.
Cellar 4-5 years.
