Opaque dark red black colour with a dark crimson red hue. Lifted ripe blackcurrant aromas merge with some dark chocolate and subtle liquorice followed by delicate bay leaf end notes. Medium to full bodied the palate is dominated by rich ripe blackcurrant flavours with some choc mint, spicy cedar and faint bay leaf following on. Full rounded textural feel with velvet smooth tannins. Medium to long aftertaste of ripe blackcurrant with light bay leaf infusions and spicy cedar.
