2012 Edenmae Jess Shiraz

Matured in a combination of seasoned and new, French and American oak for 2 years. Totally opaque inky black purple colour with a dark purple red hue. The nose displays similar aromatics to the Maluka Shiraz with plummy scents intermixed with fennel followed by some smoky oak and spice. Medium bodied the palate has flavours of plum and fennel over a background of subtle liquorice and smoky oak. Velvet smooth tannins. Aftertaste of plum, fennel and smoky oak.
