2012 Bischofliches Weingut Rudesheim Pinot Noir Trocken

Semi translucent dark red colour with black tinged edges and a dark brick red hue. The nose exhibits spiced red and sour cherry notes infused with dried herbs followed by earthy cedar end notes. Light with a dry spicy finish, flavours of dark and sour cherries are intermixed with a strong bitter dried herb component followed by cedar and spicy earth nuances. Slightly chalky tannins. Aftertaste of spicy dark and sour cherries, bitter dried herbs and earthy cedar.
