Totally opaque black dark purple colour with deep dark purple black hue. The nose displays aromas of blackberry, blackpepper and liquorice followed by some subtle spicy vanillin oak. Medium to full bodied the palate delivers rich luscious fruit flavours of ripe blackberry and liquorice with some underlying vanillin cedar and spice on the back palate. Fine grained yet relatively assertive tannins provide a good supportive framework. Long ripe blackberry, vanillin confectionary and spice aftertaste.
