ABV: 13.5%Closure: Screw CapMatured in a combination of new to 4 year old French barriques for a period of 12 months. Semi translucent dark crimson red colour with translucent light red hue. The nose exhibits aromas of dark cherry along with some plum, toasty cedar, light earth and spice. Light to medium weight the palate has savoury flavours of dark cherries, plum, spicy cedar and a hint of earth. Dryish finish with very fine grained tannins. Aftertaste of dark cherries, cedar, a touch of earth and spice.
