2011 Plantagenet Shiraz

Opaque black dark red colour with dark red hue. The nose shows excellent intensity with lifted top notes of blackberry, liquorice and vanillin oak followed by some subtle smokiness and spice. Medium to full bodied the palate sports a flavour profile of ripe dark plums and blackberry followed by some liquorice, vanillin smoky oak and spice. Velvet Smooth tannins. Soft plush texture. Excellent depth with long aftertaste of dark plums, blackberry, liquorice and smoky vanillin oak.
Drink over the next 5-6 years.
