2011 Oliver's Taranga Vineyards HJ Reserve Shiraz

Totally opaque inky black colour with a very deep dark red black hue. Pronounced aromas of liquorice are to the fore followed by ripe blackberries, dark chocolate, vanillin oak and spice. The palate delivers a level of richness, opulence and power that was rarely seen from the 2011 vintage. Mouthfilling flavours of liquorice, ripe blackberries, dark plum and dark chocolate flood the palate over a backdrop of vanillin oak and spice. Velvet smooth tannins. Excellent depth finishing with a long satisfying aftertaste of liquorice, ripe blackberries, dark plum, vanillin oak and spice.
