Opaque black dark purple colour with deep dark purple red hue. The nose exhibits good lift with ripe blackberry and dark plum aromas to the fore followed by some liquorice and spicy oak. The palate delivers ripe joosy flavours of blackberry and dark plum with overtones of dark chocolate and some spice on the back palate. Velvet smooth tannins. Plush texture with medium to long aftertaste of ripe blackberry, dark plum, subtle chocolate bullets and spice.
A very approachable style that can be drunk over the next 3-4 years (2013-2017)
Alc 14.5%
