2011 Masi Campofiorin

Made from semi dried grapes. Opaque dark red black colour with a very dark red hue. The nose offers up lifted notes of ripe dark cherries and dried cherries intermixed with incense, leather and spicy earth. Medium to full bodied the palate is filled with ripe dark cherry flavours alongside some black plum and a hint of liquorice with following earthy leather characters and spice. Slightly dryish finish with fine grained tannins. Aftertaste of ripe dark cherries, leather, earth and spice.
Drink over the next 3-4 years.
