2011 Cornelius Pinot Gris

Matured for 6 months in 2-4 year old French barriques. Bright straw colour with a watery hue. The nose displays pear and nectarine aromas with some apple, dried honey and citrus also evident. The palate still remains very fresh with pear, ripe apple and nectarine flavours dominate over subtle dried honey characters and spice. Clean dry finish with crisp acidity. Aftertaste of fresh pears, apples, nectarines and subtle spicy dried honey characters.
Drink over the next 2-3 years.
