2011 Blue Poles Reserve Merlot

Deep dark red colour with black tinged edges and a dark red hue. Aromas of ripe mulberries and plum are intermixed with some dark chocolate followed by nuances of cedar, light earth and spice. Medium bodied the palate has flavours of dark ripe mulberries and dark plum over some earthy cedar, tobacco and spice. Dryish, slightly chalky tannins. Aftertaste of dark mulberries, cedary tobacco, earth and spice.
Cellar 5-6 years.
