2010 Voyager Estate Chardonnay

This excellent Chardonnay was barrel fermented then matured for 9 months in the finest French oak of which 26% was new. Brilliant very pale straw colour with distinctive greenish tinge around the edges and watery hue. On the nose aromas of delicate white peach and nectarine are followed by some cashew and subtle gun flint. Medium to full bodied the palate possesses a rich textured personality with mouthfilling flavours of white peach intermeshed with creamy cashew and spicy oak finishing with some subtlety smoked gun flint like characters. Excellent length finishing clean and dry with long cashew infused white peach and funky gun flint characters aftertaste.
Drink over the next 4-5 years.
