Opaque black dark red colour with a dark red lightly black tinged hue. On the nose liquorice, dark plum and dark chocolate aromas are followed by some vanillin oak, mocha and spice showing good perfumed lift. Rich, soft and supplely textured, flavours of liquorice, dark plum and dark chocolate overlay a spicy toasty vanillin oak background. Velvet smooth tannins. Excellent depth with a long liquorice, dark chocolate and spicy vanillin oak aftertaste.
