2010 Quarisa Treasures Shiraz

An excellent everyday Shiraz perfect for the Winter months.
Maturation took place in a combination of new and old French and American oak barrels for 18 months. Outstanding inky black colour with deep black crimson purple hue showing good intensity. The nose opens up with aromas of ripe blackberry, dark chocolate bullets and mocha with an overlay of toasty vanillin oak. Showing good weight and richness the palate boasts bold flavours of ripe blackberry, dark chocolate and toasty vanillin oak with a touch of spice on the back palate. Supple fleshy mouthfeel with velvet smooth tannins. Medium to long ripe blackberry, dark chocolate, toasty oak and subtle spice aftertaste.
Drink over the next 2-3 years (2013-2016)
