2010 Pimpernel Vineyards Pinot Noir One

Semi translucent crimson red colour with light crimson mauve hue. Pretty aromas of violets, dark cherries and strawberries emanate from the glass followed by some meaty characters and spice end notes. Good upfront richness with mouthfilling flavours of dark cherries, ripe strawberries and dark plum followed by a touch of meaty anise and spice. Good power wave with velvet smooth tannins. Long aftertaste of dark plum, ripe strawberries and toasty spice.
Drink over the next 3-4 years.
