2010 Pegasus Bay Pinot Noir

Deep dark crimson red colour showing good depth with a deep crimson red hue. Nosing reveals lifted scents of ripe dark cherries, some dark plum and anise with some underlying meaty cedar and spice end notes. Medium bodied the palate expresses good generosity and richness with mouthfilling flavours of ripe dark cherries, plum and anise followed by some toasty cedar finishing with a quite spicy back palate. Excellent power wave. Slightly dryish but well integrated tannins provide a solid framework. Long aftertaste of ripe dark cherries, anise, toasty cedar and spice.
Cellar 5-6 years.
