2010 Moorooduc Estate Chardonnay

Having undergone 100% wild yeast fermentation in French oak barrels, 25% being new, the wine was then matured for 10 months. Bright straw colour with pale straw hue. The nose exhibits a refined aromatic profile of delicate white peach, cashew, some light toasty oak, nougat and spice. The palate displays almost creamy like textural qualities with flavours of cashew, white peach and toast followed by some spice and emerging nutty characters on the back palate. Clean dry finish. Long cashew, white peach, spice and hazelnut aftertaste.
Drink over 3-4 years (2012-2016).
