2010 Hentley Farm Shiraz

Totally opaque inky black colour with very deep black crimson red hue. On the nose lifted ripe blackberry and liquorice fragrances are the first to appear followed by some meaty characters, pepper and spice. Full bodied the palate possesses rich ripe blackberry and liquorice flavours with some underlying meaty characters and a peppery back palate. Excellent length with the peppery characters persisting right through to the finish. Solidly built yet fine grained and balanced tannin structure. Very long liquorice, blackberry and meaty blackpepper aftertaste.
Cellar 5-6 years.
