2010 Flametree Cabernet Merlot

Matured for 14 months in French oak. Opaque deep dark crimson red colour with deep dark crimson red hue. The nose provides perfumed aromas of mulberry, bay leaf and cedar followed by some light tobacco like qualities and spice. Medium weight the palate shows good generosity with flavours of ripe mulberry, dusty cedar and spice followed by some tobacco characters on the back palate. Dry finish with fine grained tannins. Medium to long aftertaste of ripe mulberry, cedar, tobacco and spice.
Cellar 4-5 years (2016-2017).
