2010 Casa Freschi La Signora Nebbiolo

Aged for 18 months in French oak. Semi translucent dark red colour with light brick red hue. The nose exhibits perfumed aromatics of violets and dark ripe cherries followed by some cedar, a trace of leather and spice. Medium weight with a soft fleshy mouthfeel the palate boasts succulent flavours of sweet ripe dark cherries and black raspberries followed by some scorched earth, cedar and spice. Dryish finish with velvet smooth tannins and bright acidity. Long aftertaste of ripe dark cherries, black raspberries, scorched earth and spice.
Drink over the next 4-5 years.
