2010 Battle of Bosworth Preservative Free Shiraz

This Shiraz is both Preservative Free and certified organic. Totally opaque black purple colour with a deep dark purple hue, very similar to what one would see in a barrel sample which given the wines extreme youth is not surprising.

The nose is also very youthful with aromas of freshly crushed blackberries and black plum followed by some liquorice and spice. The palate delivers impressive weight and concentration with a joosy texture. Flavours of freshly crushed, perfectly ripened blackberry and black plum are followed by some liquorice allsorts and confectionary. Very fine grained well balanced tannins with long aftertaste of ripe blackberry, dark plum and spice. The best example of a preservative free wine that we’ve seen in a long time showing plenty of varietal character and flavour.
