2009 Valle Secreto Vineyards First Edition Carmenere

Opaque black purple colour with deep dark purple crimson red hue. The nose is a little restrained at first slowly revealing aromas of black cherry, blackberry, light tobacco and spice. Full bodied the palate displays excellent richness with flavours of ripe blackberry and black cherry dominate followed by some cedar and a spicy back palate. Very fine grained almost velvet like tannins. Long aftertaste of blackcurrant, blackberry and spicy tobacco.
