2009 Sanguine Estate Heathcote Shiraz

Impenetrable inky black crimson colour with very deep black purple hue. The nose possesses aromas of ripe blackberry, dark chocolate and dark plum with an overlay of smoky oak and a touch of spice. Full bodied the palate delivers a ripe opulent mouthful of dark plum and blackberry flavours followed by some chocolate bullets, toasty oak and spice. Velvet smooth tannins. Long rich aftertaste of blackberry, dark plum, a touch of liquorice and spicy toasted oak.
